wok oil
Asian cooking includes a delicious wok oil. You can of course get a bottle in the store, but it often contains artificial fragrances and flavors and is not nearly as intense and tasty as when you make it yourself. And it's easy and fast too.
Preparation
- Coarsely chop all ingredients
- Heat a wok or pan with a thick bottom and pour in the oil
- Then add all the chopped ingredients and fry everything until the garlic, onion and ginger are browned but not burnt
- Then turn off the fire and scoop everything out of the oil Let the oil cool and then pour it back into the bottle, possibly through a sieve
Enjoy your dinner
This wok oil has a spicy and equally spicy taste. If you want a slightly milder version, use less rawits or replace the rawits with chili peppers. Use this wok oil as the basis of your Asian dishes and add some extra flavor. Perfect for wok vegetables, all types of meat and also as a basis for your satay.
