Chicken spices are a widely used spice mix, you can of course buy it in the store, but that is not nearly as good as when you put it together yourself. The ones from the store have way too much salt in them. This version is without salt and gives your chicken a wonderfully fragrant taste that you certainly don't get from a standard jar.
- Put all ingredients together in a mortar and mix well
- Go through it well with the mortar to release all the flavors so they can mix well
- Store the Chicken Herbs in a closed jar in a dark and dry place
Enjoy your dinner
Use the Chicken Seasoning along with some olive oil to marinate the chicken. Are you going to grill or BBQ? Then save some of the oil with herbs to coat the chicken again after you take it off the grill (or in between) when the meat is still warm. This way you give an extra tasty taste to your chicken. Marinate your chicken well in advance so that the spices absorb well into the meat.
- 3 tsp Paprika powder
- 2 tsp Onion powder
- 2 tsp Savory
- 1 tsp Coriander
- 2 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Black pepper
- 1 tsp Thyme
- 1 tsp Basil
- 1 tsp Mace
